Gov. Rick Perry strolled along Front Street in Georgetown Saturday. Georgetown's ArcelorMittal steel mill is behind the Presidential hopeful and City Councilman Paige Sawyer.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry brought his campaign for President of the United States to Front Street on Saturday.
He started his stroll at the Town Clock, visited in numerous stores and headed out to Harborwalk to look over the Sampit River and get a view of ArcelorMittal -- the former Georgetown Steel.
That plant's been a focal point of his criticism of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and his Bain Capital.
On Sunday, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich will have a town hall meeting at Lands End Restaurant at 2:30 p.m.
All the Republican Presidential hopefuls will participate in a debate in Myrtle Beach on Monday night.
